yes, wittenborg unfortunately has some meaningless error messages or even quite contradictory texts.
Out of service or too english Out of service can for example indicate a real error or even think that you should wait a little longer. With older software versions, for example, the display shows out of operation during the heat-up phase. With instant devices with 3 litre water tanks it takes 10 minutes or longer until the minimum water output temperature is reached.
even what you say with not available or not available is one of the typical bullshit false alarms. With the software I first changed the text to "heat water.... " so that users just know that the water still needs some time to heat up and they don't mistakenly think that coffee or cocoa is no longer available.
there were times when there were various notes and signs hanging around the vending machine to explain such quirks and to warn other users of these false messages.
in this case you should first of all activate the temperature display in the display to see where the water temperature really is. But as I said, depending on the software version, this display is simply withheld when the water is cold.
For example, the heating may be defective, the temperature sensor, the relay may be defective or the relay may be triggered by a temperature fuse.
But since you reported this error in December and you also wrote that you were once given a cold drink, I would like to point out another error variant.
At colder temperatures, so at 0 to 10 degrees water temperature, the vending machine software is a bit crazy. Some not so good programmer has integrated a function, which makes sure that the automat gets wrong temperatures pretended again and again. If you switch on the device freshly, for example, 120 degrees is displayed after a few seconds the display jumps to 80 then on 50 degrees and shortly afterwards again on 110 or 130 degrees.
But only if the automat thinks the temperature is below 88 degrees he switches the heating on and comes out of this stupid state at all. If it is really clearly under 5 degrees room temperature so also times 150 or 170 and in extreme cases hundred 199 degrees are indicated to one, although the water is ice-cold. For example, the temperature display here is set to 199 degrees for half an hour and the machine does not switch on the heating.
The water is ice-cold, but users can have a drink served because the minimum temperature has supposedly already been reached.
This software is absolute bullshit!
