I have a Krups EA8150 and the grinder runs for way too long, it overflows the brewer chamber with ground coffee.

Is there a procedure to reduce the grinding time please?

Step by step for the calibration of the Krups 8160 grinder:

Unplug the brewer from the mains.
Remove the water container, the grounds container and the tray over the grounds container.
Press the arrow button while plugging the brewer into the mains again.
Press the START button once and brackets [ ] will appear on the right side.
Press the START button once and 3 zeros appear inside the brackets [000] on the left side.
Place both the water tank and the tray over the grounds container and the grounds container.
Now press the START button.
P2 appears.
Press the steam button once to start the diagnostics.
The water starts to flow through the steam nozzle.
Press the steam button once.
The piston goes down, but not all the way down (twice).
The piston goes all the way down, the water flows through the piston and the disk is ejected.
P4 appears.
Disconnect the coffee machine from the mains supply.
Reconnect to the mains, switch on the brewer and it will have calibrated.
Note: If your brewer does not have a tray over the grounds container but the software is updated to that of brewers with a tray, it will not work as you will not be able to complete the step of inserting the tray over the grounds container, nor the necessary microswitch.

What if I don't have a tray? How do I do it?
