Thanks, then I'll take care of this. Is there any guidance? I haven't found anything for the solo yet :-/

Then you take the instructions for a Siemens Surpresso. E.g. at komtra.de

Thank you so much. That's it. Behind the sieve, everything was clogged with fine coffee powder. If I had known this earlier, I could have saved myself the last repair.

Thank you again, breakfast tomorrow is saved! :-)

If fine coffee powder accumulates behind the sieve, please adjust the grinding degree slightly coarser.
Otherwise the solo blocks constantly after the cleaning program because you often press the key combination 1 cup and I/O in the switched on state. This resets the grinder to first use and the machine grinds for 14 seconds which is naturally too much and completely wraps the brewing unit in coffee powder. To remedy this, simply clean the powder shaft in the appliance above the brewing unit with the vacuum cleaner. Or just put a handful of beans in the bean container.

Directly after the decalcification our Caffeo Solo had several times the problem that the non-return valve was clogged with lime crumbs. To remove the fault, unscrew the rear cover, remove the upper cover (loosen 5 clips with a flat screwdriver) and remove the left side cover (seen from the front) with a jerk to the rear. Now you can remove the non-return valve together with the hose section and flush it free again.

QUOTE (Chetto @ Saturday, 14 March 2015, 11:48 a.m.)
Hello everybody!

My Caffeo Solo is about 5 years old. After 2 years (coincidence?) the brewing unit was blocked again and again and I simply put it in detergent for a while as recommended by the customer service and then it went away.

Now it was time again and this time it took a little longer until it worked again. Afterwards I started the integrated cleaning program which has run through completely. Afterwards as always a coffee cover to rinse - and lo and behold nothing comes out in front. The machine breaks down and a few drops come out the front, the rest ends up in the container.

After I was at the end of my Latin I called the customer service: Repair necessary. So I sent it in, a few days later everything was working again: the machine was allegedly calcified. So it was cleaned and the pump changed.

Now I have again decalcified and run the integrated cleaning program again, so that this does not happen to me anymore. Result: Cleaning program runs through completely, the cover fails again afterwards. So it's the same again?! I don't want to spend over 100 Euros every two weeks...

After the descaling program runs normally, I assume that the pump is as good as before. It is also continuous from the brewing group to the outlet. Somehow it seems to me that the cleaning process causes something to dissolve in the brewing group, which then immediately clogs it. Any ideas what exactly is going on here? Thank you in advance.
--Sorry
, should have gone to maintenance.

I feel the same way, after cleaning the brewing unit cannot be used. I don't know what to do. I don't want to send them in.

If the brewing unit cannot be used, this is a different error than the one described.

The brewing unit can become clogged... so put it in detergent for one night or even better disassemble and clean it completely.

If the problem persisted, the valve body of the drainage valve has probably cracked and the drainage valve must be completely replaced, otherwise the coffee water will flow out of the crack under pressure...

It doesn't necessarily do that with the flush, the pressure's not so high...

Perhaps a little late, But I have the same issue.
- while running the cleaning program, the machine went into error. (beans flashing from left to right) After that, it shuts down.
- The brewing unit is completely stuck, I dont know how to get it out.
What should I do?
Thank you in advance for any help or reply.

Hi,
I also had the same again some time ago. Just turned off for some time and turend on again to get it unblocked. I don't remember if I also had to start the cleaning program again to get this done. Finally after a few tries the block had been released and I could restart the cleaning program again.

Thank you for your very quick reply!
I tried turning it off and on multiple times, and also waited a couple days now. It is still completely blocked. I think there is a way to take it out but cannot find it.

I have Caffeo Solo and for a while now the amount of water coming from the front dispenser shoots, has been decreasing; further to this I have increased the cup size dispense to a larger one. Now today it has stopped dispensing water at the front completely. Beans are being ground and water pumped but all the water is going into the drip tray. On opening the cover, the brew unit is all clogged up with coffee grounds. I have had the machine now for over three years and around every 10 days, remove the brew unit to clean it and clean out the interior with a bottle brush. When the clean signal comes up I clean the machine using the clean tablets in the brew unit, plus decalc it when signalled. Can you advise what to do please.
