HAllo together!

Have allegedly purchased an E20 Jura here from a service center overhauled in the office.
Hitherto it ran quite well except for a trailer of the brewing group (due to improper powder usage).

>Cleaning program was no problem.

Now wants to decalcify you. So Durgol decalcifier taken liquid, decalcified according to ANleitung.
Here I noticed that the program lasts almost forever and repeats itself as usual.
OK, after it was finished the decalcification display continued flashing.

After now 4 weeks I have time and want to clean the machine again (with current office use it shows about every 4 weeks). But this is not possible, because she still wants to descale.

Who can help me to reset this counter?
A multiple descaling with only water was also not successful. Disconnecting from the power supply for several days etc without success.

Please help me to get the little E20 back on track. She still makes coffee but this should not be a permanent condition.

Thanks in advance!

Greetings

Did you really run the program correctly according to the BDA? Fill the tank only with a good half litre of descaling solution and let it run completely empty until the pump draws air and rattles. If you refill the water in the meantime or too early, the machine will indeed hang in the program forever. Also set the correct water hardness in any case. A counter cannot be reset.

Hello!

Thank you for the hint.

>Water hardness is right.

It was probably just the simple problem of the amount of water.

However, with the E20 it sounds like the pump is about to give up the ghost.

Greetings and thanks!

Sounds like the E20 pump giving up the ghost.

Yes, in contrast to normal coffee dispensing, the "lack of water" is not indicated by the float in the tank and the reed switch triggered by this. Rather, the machine reports "Fill water" in the decalcifying program only when no more impulses come from the flowmeter, i.e. the water is really empty. At this point the pump becomes louder.

As the pump only runs for a few seconds at a time, this dry running is not harmful. However, if you refill water at this moment (before the message "Fill water" appears) out of concern for the pump, the machine will not come out of the descaling program.
