Jura Nespresso N60-red LED lights up-no function

When the machine is switched on, all LEDs light up briefly, then the red LED flashes for approx. 30 seconds and then lights up permanently red.

The machine makes no noise or other movement during this time.

What defect could the symptoms indicate?

There is no forum for "normal" coffee machines here. But it would certainly be interesting to know if the LED has a display function. Often LEDs take over the task of indicating something or pointing to something, and signal with light or blink something. Maybe that can be found out, because there are several LEDs like it sounds. No manufacturer installs them just for fun. Quite often they also have a purpose...

The lighting problem is solved as soon as I set the function switch to the coffee cooking position. However, the machine still did not work.

Since the heating unit was warm but no water was pumped, I suspected the pump as a possible cause. I ordered and installed a pump at a spare parts shop and now it runs again

I'm sorry if I ended up in the wrong forum, but I just didn't find another place to go for the Jura Nespresso N60.
