Grinding degree setting

Hello!I
have set the grind finer in my new Nivona in the off state.
Only afterwards I read that the adjustment should only be done with the grinder running.
Can something be damaged now?

Ne, it is easier to adjust when the grinder is running. In addition, if it goes wrong, the plastic adjustment ring that adjusts the grind can break in the worst case.
But the Nivona have anyway a very small adjustment range. Therefore, nothing will happen.
