If anyone else has the problem:

had called the Melitta hotline today,
which in my opinion is the best hotline in the world,
what waiting time, competence etc.,
had to call the Melitta hotline today. which is only by the way.....biggrin.gif

In any case, the good woman at the other end advised me to switch on the appliance with the brewing group
removed, then at the top right of the large drive wheel,
which sits rather centrally, in the pear-shaped recess,
in which you can see a white plastic part, press down on it until you reach a
switch/button. If you press it, the device beeps,
then keep it pressed until the wheel turns back and forth and comes to a standstill
.Now insert the brewing group again, lock it and it's done!
In any case it worked for me. I hope I could or can
help someone with it.

Many thanks to the "Melitta-fans"!!!
I pressed the little white "button" and everything works again!!!
Must do it 4 times, though, because the right position wasn't found at the first go.
So for those who didn't get it right:
Wenn´s, try again. It goes in any case !!!

My Cafe crema tastes good again!!!!! (Thank God and the Forum!!) smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Great description. Thank you.
The machine is running again.
Although I wouldn't buy any more.
Coffee really tasty but at least once a year for repair. mad.gif

Hello Biggi, what has been done and what are the costs.
That the drain valves sail across more often can be seen from the plastic part.
Multifunction valves are reperable as long as they are not subject to ceramic wear.

MfG Chris

So at my Cafeo CI I can't find the switch. When pressing Ein+My at the same time, nothing happens. Is there anyone else who might have an idea?

I guess it's true, the new version of us (Melitta CI 2017) doesn't have this key anymore either.

It's probably important in which order the keys are pressed!

>First "MY" then "ON" and hold briefly at the same time; then the machine starts to adjust.
Then you can let go.

In my case, the brewing group didn't fit after that either.
On the second attempt it worked because I carefully inserted the brew group during the adjustment process and then everything was perfect.

original error was:
morgens eingeschaltets; rote Fehelrmeldung "Systemfehler 8" (PS: new machine! 100 Bezüge)
I switched off, cleaned everything, brewgroup raus and
... then the problem: brewgroup does not fit anymore!

Thanks for your tips!
Markus

Hello, sorry for writing on English. I am writing from Sweden. I can't find answer on My coffee machine-s system error #8.

Coffee machine is writing system error #8, but problem is that Infuser Brew hangs inside and it\s impossible to remove.

I read here that if remove it and push on on\off + My coffee - that white circle will adjusted to its position, and then put it back Infuser Brew. somehow i removed infuser brew, but anyway when it stops circle, I can\t put it back. and still writes error #8.

Please help :\

Hello,
I had cleaned the brewing unit, put the complete machine in the bathtub (no water inside) and then cleaned the interior with the shower and sharp jet. Dry machine and leave to dry overnight. Brűunit inserted, enjoyed 2 cups of cappuccino and then: SYSTEM ERROR 8!
Brűunit removed - something stuck, but went - nothing found. And then it came:
The brűhe unit could no longer be used and the lever on it was also stuck. See above.
Now many thanks to the forum. The tip with the "reset switch" worked:
switch on power and press and hold sensorű- machine beeps and shaft rotates to correct position to theűck. Brűunit was again easy to use as usual and machine does what it should again. All I have to do is change the sealing ring in the housing unit.
For clarification, where the sensor switch is located, I have added the enclosed photo. The switch can be reached under the cover through the recess (see circle).
Many successes

I'm thrilled...
Saturday and especially New Year's Eve is saved.
But I'm already worried about the hints that something is wrong with the microswitches.
Is it complicated to change them, or is there a description somewhere for it?
