ESAM4200.S horrid start up noise

Machine makes a horrid noise on start up, after doing the clean cycle, then warning light comes on. Open and close door, and sometimes the noise will then go away, but it won't now, despite trying about 6-7 times. I have given the insides a good clean, and the cassette which the puck sits on slides smoothly. Anyone know what might be the problem?

Hopefully this link to a video of it works so you can understand the noise. I had one reply saying to change the transmission microswitch. Anyone able to confirm this or anything else to try?

Update: I took the machine apart, right down to the two microswitches. I ordered replacements from Mr Bean to Cup, but put it back together in the mean time. it has worked perfectly since, but I am tempted to keep the microswitches in case they are needed- they arent too expensive.
