NICR 769: Bean cover does not close

Hello folks,

the following happened to me with my beloved NICR 769: when refilling beans, a bean fell into the hinge of the cover. So the cover that you can fold up and down. But when I take the cover out and poke around in the hole for the cover hinge with a pipe cleaner or other tool, I can't feel a bean there. And I can't really get to it with a vacuum cleaner either. Does anyone have a tip on how to remove the bean, which apparently has to be somewhere and is blocking the cover?
