Hi all, I'm getting a Melitta Ci soon with the following problem, on brew group run at start up it goes off see video.

What's the problem? Surely the ac/dc or?

Hello!

This is no answer but it seems my Caffeo TSP has the same problem!
Instead of posting a new topic I will input my problem here as well hoping someone might help us both.

The machine worked perfectly about two weeks ago then we went on a vacation. Now when we are trying to start the machine it loops the starting sequence. The first start-up when we came home from the vacation the machine made it all the way through rinsing but when selecting a coffee it died instantly. Now it reboots after the bean container check (I think) not even making through initial rinse. No system error either just dies and starts up again. If I remove the water tank / brew unit or other during start up it shows all the normal messages on the display. Made a video of what is happening

I have checked the wiring and all is visually okay, same with the circuit board, no visual damage or burnt electronics.

My question is, could it be something as simple as a bad micro switch not returning the correct value during the start up sequence causing the machine to reboot?

Maybe someone knows more precisely what it is testing when it dies, I am thinking it is the bean container. Could help me pinpoint what part of the machine that is faulty.

Thanks!
