Hello,

had once von Tempelmann tasty coffee and can only recommend him. Beautiful aroma and really a pleasure, but the price is a bit steep, but not surprising. I assume you meant fair trade, and that's him.

Hello,

We have also been looking for (for our taste) good organic Fairtrade coffee for a long time.

The REWE INCAHUASI CREMA (whole beans) 250g = 2,99€!!
(unfortunately it looks as if REWE is slowly taking it out of its program again. Anyway, he's no longer available at our place. Very sad!).

Alternatively, our Aldi-Süd now has a new organic Fairtrade coffee on offer (ONE WORLD® Bio Caffè Crema 12€/kg). Also this one tastes quite good to us and we will probably stay with this brand.

Thanks for the tip, Jürgen. I also thought about trying Fairtrade coffee and then I just followed your recommendation and went to Aldi. The Fairtrade coffee is really not bad and for the price you cannot say anything smile.gif

I haven't tried REWE coffee yet. But if it's really gonna be that good, I have to try it sometime. But my expectations are not the greatest.

I personally found the Aldi-Süd Fairtrade organic coffee (about 11€ /kg) very pleasant and stomach-friendly. P/L is great.
Pity that Fairtrade still hasn't asserted itself as the more general std. Without a seal, nothing comes into my house.

You should also pay attention to the coffee from the local roasting plant, because I unfortunately didn't find an entry on the packaging afterwards.

greetings Jonathan

So far the REWE INCAHUASI CREMA (whole beans) has given us 250g = 2,99€!!
(but unfortunately it looks as if REWE is slowly taking it out of the program again. Anyway, he's no longer available at our place. Very sad!).

I only buy from small roasters who can answer my questions about growing conditions honestly and transparently. For example, according to the concrete price paid to the cooperative.
Only 1.51 US$/lib. are guaranteed with the Transfair seal. This price is based on the minimum price of 1986 and was adjusted only once a few years ago.
Many small roasters engaged in "direct trading" or "direct trade" are much further along.

Coffee is a typical fair trade or organic product.
The choice has become so wide that the right variety can only be found by tasting it. In addition, different machines also produce different types of coffee.

Personally, however, I also really like REWE's own brands very much.

Hello dear forum, this thread seems to fit me first of all. I will get a new fully automatic machine as a present for the next days and want to prepare espressos at home. Now I'm looking for the expected luxury device and especially good beans. And they should come from a small roaster that works well by hand and is correctly traded and cultivated.

>Had your experience with:

http://www.elephantbeans.de/
http://www.alcaffe.de/
http://www.kaffee-monopol.de/
http://www.quijote-kaffee.de/

all these people apparently buy directly from small farmers (cooperatives), are organic (even if without certificate) and roast themselves....

Many thanks,
Woman

Hello everybody,

I was also looking for a really good and fair traded coffee for a long time. However, I didn't want to fall back on varieties from Aldi, Rewe, netto, Lidl etc., but rather on small private roasting plants.

By coincidence I came across a quite new little roasting egg some time ago and am very excited about it.

Just have a look at the page of Komodo-coffee.com from Bremen.

https://www.fairmondo.de/users/komodo-coffee.com

The varieties for sale there come exclusively from northern Sumatra and simply taste great. As far as I know, at least 2 more varieties will be added in the next weeks. Can only recommend the coffee to you warmest.

Have fun trying it and greetings
Dirk

Organic coffee can now be found in most major supermarkets or in the One-World shop, which can be found in some cities. Otherwise there is still the possibility to order organic coffee on the net, for example here: https://www.kaffeeum-shop.de/Bio+Coffee/.

We once had the organic/fairtrade coffee from Caffe Monforte. It was actually very good, but not quite cheap.

Hello , All those looking for fair trade coffee .

It might be worthwhile to ask this question at the responsible parish office . There is an appropriate sales organization and some places are open on Sunday mornings somewhere in the community area a small shop offering such products. The whole thing is run on an honorary basis by the few committed community members who are available everywhere as an injection into the masses.

Somewhere near Wuppertal is the distribution centre with a wide range of products .

>You should dare to try it .

a little addendum :

My wife is working here in town on such a project, but is away on vacation until Sunday. I'll ask her for the Wuppertal contact address. (There you also have an overview of the regional distributors) .
