increased coffee consumption

Hello together,

we have a Jura Impressa s9 Avantgarde 801 in our office and noticed for some time a (felt) jump in consumption of our coffee Lavazza Crema e Aroma 1000g.
Every day is consumed a kilopackage, which (so my boss) otherwise several days the Kunsum covers. Meanwhile we count the cups on the basis of a tally list (although the machine also counts internally).
The pressed pellet ejection is not muddy and can be easily crushed with the finger.

My boss assumes that (similar to ink printers) a counter forces the purchase of a new machine.

Furthermore the machine is increasingly leaking. A puddle of water forms in the housing. If you pull out the complete drawer with the collecting container to the front, you can see the puddle forming, which then spreads out on the table.

Does anyone know the phenomenon / problem and is there a remedy?

Water under the collecting bowl means in this case a leak in the water flow system.
So there will be a revison in consideration.

When has the law been the last MAl in a maintenance?
From twenty cups it should be annually in the maintenance. Since the brewing group cannot be removed, the pomace and ground coffee remain in place.
The moisture (vapour) makes this greenish colour.

One Jura is well thought out but one does not exclude the other.

there nobody has paid attention to it so far. A comparison is now also difficult in retrospect.

If the machine has such an increased consumption and nobody drinks more coffee than usual and the error cannot be explained either, you will be helped either by an expert / technician who will service the machine. Otherwise, is it possible that one of your employees might take some beans home with him? ph34r.gif

Otherwise it might be time for a new device? Do you have the machine in your business assets or do you have a hire-purchase machine?

Bullshit, you can set the coffee strength in the program menu. With the avant-garde even separate for the individual drinks.

You should be glad that the Lavazza gets away as quickly as possible. Is a terrible coffee and the quality is underground. In the last months I replaced 4 defective grinders, all of them took Crema e Aroma from Lavazza. Big pieces of wood were in it.

Tip: Put 50 gr beans on a plate and sort them out. All half beans out, all those that have points (mold). Weigh the rest

Also find that Lavazza's coffee doesn't work at all. However, it does not explain this enormous consumption in contrast to before.
As long as the consumption was recorded correctly, only a maintenance can give information. I'm not suggesting that someone is stinging, even if it came to my mind as well.
Was Lavazza (further) also decreased, but the consumption seems to be many times higher than before. This cannot be explained by a loss of quality.

If you don't drink much more, I can't imagine that either.

Many people took a cup of coffee and on top of that an espresso - because otherwise the coffee was so thin.
Or big cup underneath, 2 cups pressed and only one stroke made ( o.k. we had no stroke list )

With the earlier machines we had standing everywhere in the office there was one conspicuous feature - they broke down when the cup counter was just over 30,000 .....already conspicuous.

I think after a few years the TE should have found out where the coffee was beamed to. But unfortunately he probably doesn't read along any more...

Overlooked of it every idiot would notice if the coffee would have become 3 times as strong, because the machine suddenly grinds 3 times as many coffee beans. It is complete nonsense that the machine can increase the coffee bean consumption several times so that one buys a new machine. You have to think up such nonsense biggrin.gif

Jeden Tag ist eine Kilopackung verbraucht, die (so mein Chef) sonst mehrere Tage den Kunsum abdeckt. Mittlerweile zählen wir die Tassen anhand einer Strichliste (obwohl die Maschine intern auch mit zählt).
