SIEMENS descaling tablets dissolve poorly a

I always use the original decalcification sticks from SIEMENS to decalcify our EQ9. Also for cleaning I always use the original tablets.
I have noticed during the application that the tabs for decalcification do not dissolve so fast. When the descaling procedure starts, a large part of the
tab
is still
in the water.

New tablets usually bubble up when thrown into the warm water in the storage tank. I store the tabs in their original packaging in the cellar. I have noticed that 1.5 year old tabs hardly bubble at all and then take even longer to dissolve. This can take as much as 20 minutes. I have now started to prepare the solution in a measuring cup. So I fill in ½ litres of warm water and throw the tab in. When everything is dissolved, I pour the solution into the storage tank and only then start the decalcification process

.

Somehow I don't think it makes sense if a procedure is designed in such a way that it doesn't work safely. A liquid decalcifying concentrate would be the better

variant.

Same with the cleaning tablets. Again and again there are residues of the tablet in the coffee powder pot or in the marc container. I have also heard very disturbing noises when the obviously hot water hits the tablet during cleaning. Once there was a big crash. Apparently there are quite high pressures in the pot. One reads also about broken pots. Possibly such damages are

caused by the

cleaning and not by the brewing curtain

.
Have you noticed anything similar? How do you deal with this?
