Krups EA85 coffee watery, does not press correctly

Posted by: Tobias706 July 12, 2021 07:13 pm

Hello!

I have now read a lot in this great forum and also cleaned the machine, but unfortunately the problem still occurs.

After cleaning, the first coffee came out of the machine super ... The second, however, was again the error that the coffee is only very thin. If you now take the coffee grounds container out of the machine, you can see that the grounds are very very moist. I thought it might be the seals of the head, but they seem to be fine.

So I just removed the tray for the cleaning tablet or powder and could then adjust that after the brewing process the sieve(?) does not "clack" down - but I can tap it with an object very easily and it quicks down.

How can I fix this error? What is the best way to proceed here?

Thanks for your help!

Many greetings

After cleaning, the first coffee came out of the machine super.... However, the second was again the error that the coffee is only very thin. Now if you take the coffee grounds bin out of the machine, you can see that the coffee grounds are very very very moist. I thought it might be the seals on the cup, but they seem to be fine.

So, I just removed the tray for the cleaning tablet or powder and then was able to set that after the brewing process, the strainer(?) does not "fold" down - but I can tap it very easily with an object and it folds down.

How can I correct this error? What is the best way to proceed here?

Hi

Has your problem been solved in the meantime? Our machine doesn't press anymore either and because of this I get watery coffee.
