Latte Macchiato gets very dark

Hi!

I have a melitta barista TS and my Latte Macchiato gets very dark, not the tasty looking light brown color, but like black coffee. After a while it gets better when it blends but it does not look very tasty just after making it. When looking on videos online with macchiatos made with the same machine they look perfekt. I use the right beans and I dont like my coffee to strong so It cant be because of that. What could be the problem? To much coffee?
