Hello together,

I am a recent proud owner of a Quckmill 5000A. However, I have the following problem, for which I have not found a solution even after extensive reading of the contributions here in the forum so far:
It is always recommended to adjust the grind rate so that for an espresso purchase a purchase duration of about 25 sec. is reached. But with my machine I get a maximum of 13 seconds, whereby the pressure then already rises to 15 bar. If I reduce the grinding degree even further, the pump can no longer do this and the brewing process is stopped. Can someone give me a clue as to why this might be? I can actually only adjust the two parameters painting degree and coffee quantity, whereby I have adjusted the latter in such a way that the brewing cylinder becomes completely full.
Mir has noticed that many people here modify their machine so that no more water is emptied into the pomace container by diverting the hose that ends there. With me however nothing comes out of this hose at all, the pomace is very beautifully dry - can this be an indication of the problem?

Many thanks for your tips!

Gruß
Simon

Pressure: It's okay, it can't get too high.

Coffee quantity: Cylinder full is just right.

-Grinding degree: It's good that you can turn it so finely that nothing can get through. This shows that the limiting screws of the grinder are set correctly.

Either you are not patient enough with the adjustment (it only takes effect completely with the second to third purchase after adjustment) or you are using old coffee, i.e. supermarket goods.
Write which coffee with which best-before date you are using.

Remaining water conversion: You are mistaken for something.
The remaining water from the thermoblock flows back into the water tank at the factory, the conversion leads it instead into the drip tray under the cup base.
The hose in the pomace container only leads to the steam valve, there is practically never anything there as long as the seals are OK. Instead, minimum air is drawn in as soon as pressure decreases.
