Coffee flap Orchestro Plus defective

hello,

i have a krups orchestro plus. when switched on, it immediately indicates that the coffee flap is open (flashing spoon with coffee on the display).

can the problem come from the fact that from the inside flap, where you put the coffee, the left pin is broken off and it is held only by the right pin?

What can i do? for a repair/exchange of parts the necessary small change is missing at the moment.

Hello,

the one with the inner flap can cause the problem,
since a magnet is attached to the flap mechanism, which reports the opening of the flap to the
machine via a reed switch.

flap is closed.

the repair can cost about € 70,- to € 100,-.
The repair depends on what exactly is defective and what
the spare part costs (if the part is still available as ET - which
is not a matter of course at Krups...).

oha - ok, thanks first! how can I check that with the reed contact?

Look where the reed contact is, look where the magnet is, make sure both come together again.
