Now I own the Nivona 831 for more than two years.
What I've always noticed is that the machine doesn't stick to my settings when it comes to the coffee feed.
In the beginning it makes no difference whether I have set a stronger or weaker aroma - in my opinion it always absorbs the same amount of coffee. I prefer the strength of four beans. If I fill a larger quantity of coffee beans, the machine will feed me up to 16 g of coffee with a cover. Now I have tested it with smaller quantities and need for a cover just over 10 g, which I pile up a little bit in the coffee container, so that the machine does not "demand additional" beans.
This means that I weigh the coffee separately for each cup of coffee, so I can't get two cups at once. It makes a difference if I need 32 g or 21 g of coffee for two cups.
