I think one can expect that with such expensive devices, spare parts are available even after 11 years?! I was
told by GAGGENAU that they offer a spare parts warranty of only 10 years.
My machine has been very well looked after and now I am to dispose of it, this is absolutely customer unfriendly to me.
I cannot recommend any of the GAGGENAU appliances, as I have now had to replace the dishwasher, which was constantly broken before, and now the fridge-freezer is also starting to show the first signs of a defect.
Does anyone have any tips for me regarding the coffee machine, repair or replacement?
Had exactly the same issue with a CM200100 - outrageous sales strategy (might as well buy a cheap Mascine then ...).
Possible solution: I got the part number of the defective brewing unit from the repair service. With some research and this part number I bought a brewing unit on the internet from www.kaffee-intakt.de for 79,95 € which fits the CM210 as well as my older CM 200 .
After 8 days I received the unit which looks absolutely identical in construction. I will now replace it myself and hopefully report back with a success story ...
