Hello, I bought a used fully automatic coffee machine, because I had no experience with it and wanted to try it out first. Here's my question: Is it normal that the brewing unit sits slightly slanted in the device? Everything is easy to open and insert. The brewing unit can actually only be removed when the machine is switched off. Switch the machine off, then take the brewing unit in your hand and press on the sieve. This should be relatively easy to press down. If it is difficult, it is best to revise the brewing unit. There are enough instructions on the net. Just google "delonghi esam brew group disassemble".

How it is with the Phillips I do not know. This is how the brewing unit is positioned so that the powder from the grinder falls into the brewing unit. Is perhaps normal for the machine as long as you can draw coffee.

How is the brewing unit when the machine is switched off?
The cracking can come from the brewing unit. Since a linkage extends below that is locked in the housing that cracks.
Seals I would look that I get the original. E.g. at Hotcoffee. These are the ones with the right dimensions.

Hello Schlawi, I have now replaced the rings and greased. The brewing unit is assembled correctly. When I start the machine, the rinse water runs into the bottom of the machines and coffee does not come. At the end the machine says "coffee is ready". However, the brewing unit does not retract to the correct position, it stays on top. Desperation:o:o
