Hello,

I disassembled the grinder of my KVA Bosch VeroCafe to replace the motor carbons and took the opportunity to clean the whole grinder.

Question: what grease should be used to grease the worm (the drive) of the grinder? (NOT the seals, NOT the brew group).
The parts, i.e. the worm that sits on the motor shaft and the large gear from the grinder that is driven by the motor, probably never come in contact with the coffee beans.
Still - can I use a normal machine grease or is there something special for it?

I know that silicone grease is used for the seals, but for the drive?
Thanks in advance!Grußezee50

I use for the gear and the grinder in Saeco machines the Molykote DX.
Was recommended to me once because it is also suitable for plastic and may be used in the food sector.
