Good evening dear community
,I am brand new because this time I do not know what
to do.

I have the following problem with the EQ8 TE809501/01:

- no error messages-
with each coffee it says "Please wait" and a blue bar runs full

.

You can hear the pump, but the grinder does not start. The brewing unit moves up immediately. Water is pumped in briefly, but then runs into the drip tray. The brewing unit moves back and the machine shows the normal overview.

Unsuccessful remedy:
- Brewing unit disassembled into all individual parts, cleaned, assembled-
Large system cleaning program-
Grinder removed -> outlet was clogged with hard coffee -> grinder disassembled (incl. lower ceramic plate) and cleaned with brush (it was all very tight with coffee to) -> reassembly -> Large gear screwed tight and then arrow to arrow 3/4 turn back

.

Fine grinding gear inserted and everything assembled ->
machine assembled -> no error message -> no grinding noise -> start see aboveI

have not removed the motor of the grinder, because this can not come into contact with clogging things

.

Theoretically, it should indicate an error anyway.

Now it's your turn tongue.gif:D

I can think of worn motor carbons or a burned out/loose winding.
Maybe you can test it with a 9V battery whether it runs.
With Saeco, you can test the grinder motor.

That would be an option, but does the machine detect so quickly that the motor is not running? Then an error message would appear or?

I checked. The carbons are 6x4x 7-8mm (New 10mm).

Could this be the wear I mentioned? 30-40% shrinkage doesn't seem like a serious problem to me, does it?

In Siemens EQ5, 7, 8 you can also test the components individually: When switching on the right (personalization) and simultaneously hold down the left button (Start).
Then you can in the Components Test the parts (grinder, boiler, BH motor, ceramic valve, pump and lighting individually control. In addition, you can also read out the error memory there. Test what runs and what does not.
In addition, the counter readings would be interesting.
