No operation possible. Indicator light

Hello, can anyone help me? My Gaggia titanium SUP 027YDR shows only the upper line of the display fully illuminated when switched on. The warming plate (lid) becomes warm. Nothing else happens. My mechanic's eye can't find an electrical fault. Is the electronic/control ready? Is it worth replacing? Greetings from Holland.
