Saeco Incanto - Commissioning

Hi,

I bought me a (very cheap) Saeco Incanto today. I filled it with coffee and water, turned it on.

The BA states that the device should be vented after it has been switched on. I turned the knob to (as indicated). But nothing happens. Neither does water flow through, nor steam, nor anything.

Had anyone any idea ?

Service already closed, would call there otherwise...

do you hear the pump humming ? is it loud or quiet? could be that the incanto has been standing there for a while and everything is dry inside, I would take the syringe to fill, but you can try it with decalcifier solution

Is there electricity? Does the machine make any noise? Do any lights shine?
