Can descaling be triggered manually?

Hello, everybody,

for years I have a Krups EA from the 8000 series. Until now, the machine has never wanted to be descaled. However, according to the operating instructions, descaling can only be carried out when the CALC lamp is flashing. Is
there a trick with which the descaling process can also be triggered manually, e.g. by pressing
a button combination?
The normal cleaning with the cleaning tablets requests the machine
regularly.
