Who can help?
After inserting the Nespresso capsule and locking it accordingly, more water runs into the capsule collecting container than into the cup during the brewing process.
Where is the problem here?

Having disassembled the machine. I have been repairing fully automatic coffee machines for years and know my way around them. I have no experience with Nespresso machines. Something seems to be leaking at the brewing group or brewing piston or after inserting the capsule no tightness is created here by the locking process.

It irritates me that I do not find a seal here (brewing piston and also not pyramid admission). Without an appropriate seal, the brewing process cannot be leak-proof after all.

Many thanks in advance for hopefully helpful contributions!

The problem is well known.
The brew bell, the part that surrounds the capsule and is corrugated, probably has a hairline crack. Under pressure it expands and the water flows through it and not through the capsule.
There is also a seal that you can get close to if you lever this brewing bell out of the brewing group from below.
The fault is 95% at the brewing bell. Otherwise it can still be calcified or the seal is defective.
Leather, the brewing group is only available as a complete spare part.

Thank you very much! Take the brew group apart and check for damage. If damaged, must a new brewing group be installed anyway and whether this pays off? Probably not!

Hello

The hairline crack is hard to see. It opens only at high water pressure. The brewing group costs about 50€.

The brewing piston is in two parts. In between is your sought after seal.
Have the same problem, but this seal is probably nowhere to buy. Unfortunately, only the complete brewing unit.
