Filling the programmed cup takes too long

Posted by: LillyLilly January 20, 2023 07:23 pm

Moin together smile.gif,
I found this forum, am new here and need times good advice✊

I have two Philips HD 5730 in use, of which the one device recently makes problems and I do not get on with it so right.....

said in advance: both devices are very regularly maintained or with the appropriate means decalcified, rinsed, the brew groups cleaned (are also Leichtläufig etc,)

With the problem device it takes in comparison to the other device (with identical settings) too long until the filling of the cup is finished and it looks as if the pumped amount of water moves too slowly into the cup.

What could be the reason for this?

In my opinion, there is nothing clogged on the device, I have replaced a replacement brew group, the pump and also both "boilers" from a spare parts dispenser, but the result always remained the same....????
Error messages are not generated or displayed.
Hot water is also generated by the device without any problems and then also pumped into the cup when needed.

Among other things, both solenoid valves are tested and they work as required...

Leakages are also not present on the device.

Visually, the problem presents itself among other things. When filling the cup, not enough water reaches the two outlets and one outlet runs normally and the other only runs intermittently because the amount of water is not sufficient for both outlets (no, there is nothing clogged?).???)

Can it really be that it is the flowmeter and it gives wrong information to the control??

I can think of nothing else but the flowmeter....

Has anyone of you experienced something similar and therefore a solution to the problem??

Thank you in advance for your help ...smile.gif

I rather suspect a worn pump. The now only last 4-5 years.
Either the ball in the pump has become too small and no longer seals properly, or the internal check valve in the pump is worn.

New pump does not cost the world, you get for under 20 € including shipping.

Thank you for your answer smile.gif

Ne new pump can probably spend times for it, is not a fortune...????
A try is worth it...

But I could see at the setback so obviously nothing more...

I just do it ????

You can't really see anything there.
I have built a small test bench for such purposes. There I can test whether the pump builds up enough pressure and also whether it holds the pressure or immediately loses it again.

Meanwhile, I only exchange for new pumps. until 1-2 years ago, I still exchanged the ball in the pump.

Moin everyone, here I am again with news:

I have now renewed the pump and it was actually on the old pump, now the pumped water volume is in the target smile.gif

Furthermore, I have both heaters from the thermoblock tested for conductivity and they are so far okay.
Finally, I have now renewed the thermostat or the heat sensor, because the achieved coffee temperature was also not so pralle.

Now the coffee comes with a temperature of 64.2 ° C in the cup and I can probably live with it, considering that with a new machine ~70 ° C can be reached....smile.gifwink.gif

If it comes over me then I maybe the thermoblock itself still exchange, but actually it fits so, let's see....

Now I'm waiting for your answers to it....wink.gif

Greetings and thanks for your good tips so far ...!

Thanks for the feedback.

Do you need any parts for the 5730?
I have some lying around that I don't really need.

Nah thanks, that fits so far...wink.gif

But I can still use a Capuchinatore for a Saeco Royal one Touch (first version), they are new yes weighed up with gold, just crazy....ohmy.gif
