Hi people,

one of you can tell me if the GIGA series is really better than the Z series?
What advantages can a Giga for the home have that a Z series can't offer?

Thank you!

Bernd

Hello,
have an xZ7 and I'm very happy with this one.
A Giga has two grinders, the technology is newer (better??) it
runs faster and of course the design.
But I don't know if that justifies the price of >3t €.
Had a Giga 7 from Jura got to test (promotional measures).
The daily cleaning effort can be compared to that of an X9.
There are fewer parts, but these are also smaller.
There are some parts built into the Giga that cannot be renewed / maintained without special Jura equipment.
You need 2 square meters of space to disassemble (if you want to do that at all).
All is very cramped and cumbersome.
The products were in my eyes no better than what comes out of my xZ7.
I heard from a dealer here in town the saying,
"The customers drive with 50 000 € expensive cars and have extra ordered
5000 € expensive aluminum rims on it and give the 1500 expensive coffee machine for repair.
Jura simply did not want to hang behind longer".
I ordered a new cappuccino frother a week ago (only the lower part, that's now
threepart).
Now the milk is even creamier and softer.

As already written, in a 100 square metre kitchen that was only bought for the show
a giga certainly makes itself better than a Z but otherwise see
ICH no reason to part with my (until now)!!

Oh so,
the most important one I almost forgot.

she has a big advantage. The Cappuccinatore switches
over a small motor independently from hot milk
to milk foam.

This is in fact easier than turning the Z on the wheel

Hello and thank you very much for your contribution. as you have already written it costs the times just 2.5x as much as my Z7. Design etc. looks good. For 2000 Euro I would buy a Giga 5.

Do you have a link from your new nozzle? I read something about a professional nozzle somewhere for about 50 euros. Do you mean that? Has such a rotary switch at the nozzle.

I think if you have a big family ne Giga will only be worth it....
Extras can of course also quickly and often break...

Fits the nozzle on the Z?

>The Z9 TFT also looks good, but I don't need a display, otherwise no advantage.

Hello you two,

>I took a picture once.

In the upper picture: The old nozzle is above and the new one below. Yes is the fine foam nozzle.
Article number I don't have at the moment, cost about 30 Euro.
Fine thing the thing.
