Starbucks Espresso Beans

Hello dear people, I am a complete newcomer to coffee making. The manual of my Siemens EQ6 700 says that I am not allowed to use caramelized beans. My girlfriend now brought me Starbucks espresso beans. It's got a big "rich caramelly" on the front. Does that mean now that they are caramelized and therefore not allowed in my VA, or do they even have a "sweet taste"? Please help me Greetings Daniel

Try two or three beans. Best bitten then know it right away. But since SB's also has mills, I think they are not caramelized, otherwise they would clog.

well they taste a little sweet but not extremely... a little shiny they also do... one would just have to know...

Hello, caramelized beans do not belong in the fully automatic machines.
The whole grinder glued and please how does man get caramel out of there again.
Especially hardening due to the unintentional heating of all the sugar.

For a taste test I was from the local roaster (while there is in every bigger place min 1 roaster) some small 125-250gr packages get.
