Saeco Intelia HD8511

Hello my machine displays. Fill water tank even though there is still water inside.... At Max all is well. As soon as half is out, the display appears.
What is the best thing to do.

As I see it, in the water tank at the bottom is a small box where a spring is inside and a flow to the outside. That's where the water comes out. The spring can be moved quite easily. The machine does not have any magnets or reed contacts yet.

The water level is measured via a circuit board in the housing behind the water tank. It is probably defective or no longer firmly in the housing.
HD8511 is the designation of the machine?

Thanks in the door says HD8751/11.

Let's see where I can buy the sensor and how to install it.

It can be queried in test mode.

All clear. Thanks. I'll have to search Google to see what you can do in test mode. Could not find anything so far.

Thank you. Have seen that there are two different water level sensors. But how do the sensors work.....Do they measure the pulses, how much water comes out and calculate that, or are they Hall sensors.

Is measured capacitively.

OK then I understand why it sometimes runs and then not.
In test mode, the TANK-H20 indicator is set to YES when the water tank is inside. However, when it is out, it is OFF.

If the sensor measures the capacity, why does the test mode show YES or NO when I take the water tank in and out?

I noticed that when the message with the water comes and I press against the left side of the housing, the message goes away again and I can make coffee.

The sensor is glued. Perhaps it has come loose. It's best to open the machine and check.
Since it seems to work, I suspect something in that direction.

Thanks.... Have now ordered a new one. Even V3. so a little better. Hope that there is an adhesive on it.......but seems to be laborious to change this. One hardly comes to it.

It was the sensor. Works fine.

Is there also a menu where you can set the temperature and more ? I stumbled upon it by accident at the beginning. But I do not know how it was.

Is there also current firmware for the machine ?
