Hello Together,
we (4-person household, 2 adults and 2 children) are looking for our first KVA.

Bisher (what I have seen so far in div. We still vary between the following KVA:

- Siemens EQ 9 S500
- Jura J90
- Nivona Cafe Romatica 858

>Nivona Cafe Romatica 858
>Nivona Cafe Romatica 858
>Nivona Cafe Romatica 858
Nivona Cafe Romatica 858
>Nivona Cafe Romatica 858
>>Nivada
>Nivada
>>>Very many "mixed milk drinks" (so latte, cappu ...etc.)

>also hot milk or hot water (for the kids)

After a TV report about mould in a fully automatic machine we are a bit sceptical at the Jura, where two sellers said, with appropriately displayed and successful cleaning nothing will happen.

We could only try the Siemens KVA (Latte) so far and the taste was very impressive. My wife is still thrilled that 3 sugar cubes were swimming on the milk foam.....

So, now the question to you:

Who should become our (first) fully automatic machine and why or from which rather take distance !!??!!

Should still data or information be missing, simply announce.

Many thanks.

Greeting

Hello,
I had the Nivona 858. Had... mind you...
The coffee tasted very good, also the latte and cappuccino when it became that what. Only after a short time did the waste incineration plant no longer deliver any real milk foam, the milk just splashed out of a nozzle. A terrible mess and the milk that ended up in the glass was just liquid. This was not the case with every purchase, so with approx. 3 to 4 glasses of 10.
The KVA was several times to repair, it has brought nothing. I also got a new device as an exchange. Same again. My dealer has taken the device back as a gesture of goodwill. I am now also looking for a new device. I personally advise against the Nivona 858.
I don't want a law because you can't take the brewing unit out. We have a Siemens in the office, but without MS function. We are very satisfied with this one.
I hope I could help you.

Hello,

at least one answer so far .... sad.gif

I was in two stores by now. Once I was taken to Siemens, in the other shop to Jura. The ones in the second shop have a Jura agency, but also Nivona and actually Siemens. Actually Siemens, because they no longer offer them. They had a lot of trouble with Siemens, especially with the EQ series, because these KVAs often caused problems. I was also able to take a look inside a somewhat older Jura and I was amazed how clean it is. The very nice saleswoman told me that it is normal if and this is certainly crucial if the customer regularly adheres to the "clean-make actions". The customer, which machine I was allowed to see, stuck to it. I could also drink a cappuccino from the J90. Very tasty. In addition, the marc was really almost dust-dry.
I think it's like almost everywhere: If you take care of your things (e.g. car service etc.), then (!!) everything should fit.

FAZIT: At the moment I'm actually leaning towards law and maybe only towards Siemens. Nivona was frankly discouraged, too.

Nevertheless I am of course open for further feedback and am already very curious about other opinions and experiences!!!

We are confronted with the same question...

Siemens EQ.9 300 or 500
De Longhi ESAM 6850
JURA..

My wife has reservations about the JURA devices, as the brewing group cannot be removed for cleaning. De Longhi has a bad customer service and only 5000 references guarantee...

Siemens speaks to us optically; we could get the 300 for EUR 850 and the 500 for EUR 950.

Both have 15.000 references on guarantee. The workmanship seems to be reasonably neat; I like stainless steel cases because they look more valuable than plastic.

The three waste incineration plants are largely built in the same factory. Siemens and Nivona are quite similar. The Siemens MWIPs are identical in construction to the Bosch devices (could also be worth considering). The Novida KVA are almost identical in construction to those from Miele. Law could not convince me in general so far. My tip is the Siemens EQ 9 S500 - looks good and is very quiet. rolleyes.gif

@coffeeness: That's right? Siemens is building Jura and Nivona????? Or all three machines are built in ONE (!!!;) factory???

I can't quite believe that somehow......

VW doesn't build a BMW, does it?

Siemens and Bosch are built by Gorenje in Slovenia. Jura, Miele, Nivona etc. from Eugster Frismag in Switzerland. Saeco and DeLonghi are built in their own factories in Italy and Romania. LG Paul

Hello, I don't know much about law, Nivona. But maybe you'll find a good KVA here. Fully automatic coffee makerHQ.com. Or have you found one yet? I just always swear on my Saeco incanto. He's never let me down before. Many greetings from Stuttgart. Saeco Incanto

Hello everyone,
finger away from JURA. Ask a dealer who sells both JURA and NIVONA how many devices he gets back for repair. You will be amazed.

JURA is expensive, the brewing unit cannot be removed, etc. I have had very good experiences with NIVONA.

Until the day before yesterday I had the same problem.I couldn't make up my mind.

>In the end I went to a specialized dealer and had the machines explained to me.

* Jura
...a lot of the same out,because of the brewing unit and the size of the machine

* DeLonghi
..my husband in the company..and they have some problems with the machine,maintenance effort very high.

* Siemens & Bosch

..which are almost identical in construction, gesteste..here the Bosch was in an advertisement..beautiful part.but not very dainty, which also influenced my purchase a bit more complex in the operation.

Siemens..hm..unfortunately no good experience with other devices made, very tough procedure in complaints, too bad.

*Nivona .

... never heard of the manufacturer, I must confess ohmy.gif

>KVA were demonstrated

..and I had to say, I liked the Nivona best ...img src='/forums/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' />>
,but I still couldn't decide blink.gif>

I'll get in the car & go home. 'Aunt Google'; to find out about the manufacturer. And was very surprised.
It doesn't seem to enjoy the worst reputation.

It's already a high price that is called up..there you want to be informed first of all.

Next day again to our specialist dealer..good 35 km, but no matter.

Endstand:
Nivona 839 become..

..should be the 838 in black matt, but here you have already seen everything 'Tatschen ' on the machine with the demonstrator.

Then the Cafe Romantica 839 was taken from stock..looks more noble than in the Internet.Silver matt...

What moved me was that it became 'this' machine:

* Design
* Size
* Display completely in English
* Easiest handling and adjustment options
* Completely dismountable for cleaning, which turned out to be great.
* German manufacturer
* According to dealer very good service, should it not work
* High quality grinder
* Noisiest from the demonstrators
* Contact person on site

Then still from the dealer, should the machine have a defect and we bring it back to the store, there is without if & but a replacement machine.
Ist not to despise. laugh.gif

Price still negotiating..and she was me/us. biggrin.gif

We never drank as much coffee as last night...we are testing what tastes best to us laugh.gif

Display in German? Really? All machines can do that. German manufacturer is simply wrong. Built by Eugster, in Switzerland. Radolfszell or at the plant in Portugal. By the way, they also build Jura, Miele, Melitta and so on. LG Paul
