Moin!

pos:
Our Titanium now runs for about 1.5 years... approx. 2000 cups... absolutely trouble-free.
delicious coffee+espresso... biggrin.gif
metal housing, no plastic cube
very good for the quality
very easy to program and operate
simple chic

neg:
coffee container never does not hold 15 portions, with service code no more pigs at 12.
Mahllwerk has become a little louder (at least that's how I feel)
class hotline with "correct Tel.-No."

for nothing.
Thanks to (complete?) Saecco technology probably no spare part samples to expect
unclear scope of supply (cappuccinatore was enclosed contrary to expectations)

Würd' me - if's house burns down - buy again immediately.

Ciao Uwe

That I can agree!

The water tank is exceptionally large. Approx. 2.2 litres. This is the advantage of the water tanks located on the outside of the housing.

The lid for the bean container can be used somewhat fiddly.

The metal parts of the machine clatter a little during the brewing process, however, because the accuracy of fit is not so good or some metal parts lie quite loosely on or on. This then leads to very disturbing and unattractive vibrations.

Also a small disadvantage. The very bright blue display and the white writing. Black on discreet lighting would probably have been better.

The buttons for operation are all in a row and the marking is hardly recognizable depending on the location and ambient light.
- Misuse is not excluded.

The Capuccinatore is made of plastic and does not fit so at all to the rather noble design.

However, the purchase price of a new German version with 499, - €
unbeatably favorable.

To mention still the exellente, with something care unkaputtbare brew group with 50000 cups! ! ! and 5 years warranty.

This machine is therefore worth each euro.

How loud is the Titanium now really louder than the Delonghi ESAM series, is it annoying and you can't talk about it normally anymore ?

What is all about Saeco in the Titanium, are there any mistakes, problems or repairs and what does it look like in the Rep. case where do I have to send it (live in Austria - I have there also 5 years warranty), who pays the shipping ?mfg

Everything in the Titanium is from Saeco, only the case is different.

Hello, does Titanium also have fast steam or a second boiler?

Hello,
my Gaggia (technically almost identical to SAECO Incanto Digital, was tested by Stiftung Warentest as the second best model) is now 1 year old, about 1000 Espresso. Purchased for 499Euro from Media Markt. She has had no problems so far, makes a great espresso and is easy to use (even my wife has no problems with it). Cleaning is perfectly possible thanks to the removable brewing group. Compared to my Bosch B30, the Gaggia is worlds better, even though the Bosch inside also trusts in the SAECO patents, but the Bosch is modified to the negative at the decisive points (drainage valve is constantly broken at Bosch, brewing group is not reinforced at the particularly stressed points, which has been reinforced at SAECO for twenty years now and has only been retightened at Bosch in the latest models. Moreover, at Bosch the brewing group has to be cleaned with a tablet, since it cannot be removed, which is very time-consuming and often gets stuck in the brewing group and causes further damage - that's quite a shit). With my still young Gaggia also the annoying problems at the hot water/steam valve of earlier models are overcome by a new valve.

In my experience, the Gaggia is so loud that normal conversation is not possible during this time.

This is partly due to the fact that there is no specially noise-reduced grinding mechanism, as is the case with many other manufacturers who advertise there, and partly due to the grinding system itself.

Special noise reduction measures would probably have gone beyond the scope of the cost calculation at the time. After all, the price/performance ratio is unparalleled or very good.

Everything in the Titanium is from Saeco because Saeco is the manufacturer. The housing is produced exclusively for this model, which is why the attached attachments are matched to it and cannot be found on the Incanto.

Service addresses can be found in the dealer directory enclosed with the machine.

Whoever repairs Saeco also repairs Gaggia

There are various dealers who offer free DHL collection within the warranty period on request.

The own dispatch should be free within the warranty period (thus as unfree package), which must be inquired however before over the Hotline.

In addition I would clear up the dealer after positive promise over the unfree dispatch and inform around the danger to avoid to receive the package back unopened.

Sicher there are slightly deviating conditions in Austria. So also here with the Hotline contact keep.

I would once claim without really knowing it that the 5 year warranty on the brew group Europe-wide has validity.

Hello,
our Gaggia Titanium, bought: April 2004, pulled 12,385! cups,
has gradually muzzled:
grinder runs according to test program only with value 4
"cappucinatore" no longer builds up enough pressure.
Contacts at the heater are severely corroded (?), discolored, singed. Water is still somewhat hot, but has been hotter before.
Is it still worth repairing?
Many greetings

For 3 years I have had a Gaggia Titanium (Inox)
The first machine was 3 times in repair, finally I got a new one for a fee of 200€, but since the INOX is no longer built it became a "simple" Titanium.
This is after 9 months now also defective again, that is dripping from the steam lance.

I like the machine very much, both in function, taste and appearance. But somehow I don't believe anymore that I get one that doesn't have to be repaired every year sad.gif

2x a Monday machine is too much for me.

biggrin.gif Hi,

I have had the Gaggia Titanium since November 2005 and am very pleased with the machine.

She hasn't made any noise so far and has already spoiled us with approx. 6,000 cups of perfect coffee. The coffee tastes great and the crema is perfect, as described in the test verdict of "Stiftung Warentest".

In the beginning I sometimes didn't find the coffee hot enough, but here I have remedied it with the integrated cup warmer.

The design of the machine convinced me because it is not made of plastic like most other machines, but of brushed stainless steel at the front. Even the Jura machines, which are usually much more expensive, could not keep up four years ago, when we bought our Gaggia.

The cleaning of the machine is very simple and inexpensive, because you do not need special tabs (such as in the Jura), but only commercially available decalcifiers. With the purchase of the machine I also bought a Britta filter, because unfortunately we have very limy water here. I think this contributes to the longevity of the machine.

I should mention that the integrated clock in the display of my machine unfortunately never works properly! I don't mind - it's just an Italian!Domani, domani amore!!
