Hello dear coffee friends,

since several years "plag;ich" me now already with the Krups coffee machines rum. I started with the XP, then came EA´s (8025). The XP and EA´s I have of course often disassembled. If you know how it works, the machines are a real gain (if you don't sheut yourself to change all the seals yourself from time to time). In the meantime I have provided almost the whole family with Krups EA´s and I am waiting for all of them. :-) After all, if you are visiting you want to drink a decent cup of coffee.

Now I just let myself get carried away and bought myself an EA 9000! This is new territory for me now. As I could see, the same brewing technique actually seems to have been used. That means, of course, that we will have to change the gasket soon. So I can't get around disassembling the machine.

From XP, EA, I already know that disassembly can be quite tricky (tear off the cover upwards).

Therefore my question: is there already a manual for disassembling the EA9000/EA9010?

In case no, has someone disassembled the machine yet and can give me tips on how to proceed? Which part do I start with? The flashback? Is this pushed up like the orifices of the older EA´s?

A question: are there any hints on how to get into the technician menu? Can anyone give me a hint?

I would be happy about answers. Many thanks for your help!

:-)

Leedy are the images not very high resolution, so it is hard to see how the parts belong together .... :-/

Hello, a good flashlight and a thin flat screwdriver, so you can easily lift the plastic so you can see how the parts are put together.
Try to get into the menu in the usual way, otherwise try.
Mfg Chris

Hi Chris,

thank you for your answer! Are you talking about your own experience disassembling the EA9000 now or are you just guessing? The plastic won't want to go to heaven right away. :-)

In a higher resolution exploded view it actually looks like noses (similar to the front panel of the XPs EAs which have to be pushed up). Now I don't want to bend around with a screwdriver.

After I put the EA9000 down and disassembled and cleaned my old EA8025 (thought of as a spare machine), another EA8025 in the family circle went into the binsen (FC09) which I'm currently renovating (10,000 covers). :-)

The one with the customer service menu I still haven't found out. Unfortunately, with the touch screen there are many more possibilities to install a hidden access.

Probably they will have made this a little more difficult to discover .... :-(

It's a conjecture I've made, I also wrote with sure instinct.
Although a "wet" is leaving her life with it, it's worth more than messing around with it and hoping for answers that won't be answered for a few months.
BSH machines are similar with noses and edges, according to I-net the grinder bowl should also be removed at the end... today I know better.
MfG Chris

Do you think now with the EA9000!?

problem is recognized: the rear panel is actually pushed up " (this requires surprisingly much force!)! Then the side parts can be removed by loosening the side 6 screws by pushing back. But first the cover has to be removed and 2 more screws have to be loosened (I'm not there yet, the machine is running and I don't want to disassemble it now).

By BSH I meant Bosch/Siemens.
But if you dismantle yours I'd like to get a description of it.
Thank you

There will be when I am ready and I have to dismantle them. Then I'll make a video! :-)

Hello barfly,
did you manage to dismantle the EA 9000 and did you make a video? I am facing the same problem, I have to change the brewing group and have only found your mail on the net with a hint to a possible mounting instruction.
Many greetings

I pushed the cover up with force at the back, so I got the screws.
Afterwards I unhook the side parts (push them backwards).

Okay, so what's the next step to the brew group? The inner workings seem too complicated for me to simply screw on.

I changed the brewing unit once.
The picture instruction is not so nice, but certainly useful.
The pictures are a combination of disassembly and assembly.
