Krups EA8000 and EA8160 loop grid symbol

Dear coffee lovers,

I have an issue with 2 krups EA machines. Both the same issue. I tried to make 1 from 2
At starting up the piston goes down, but just half way, comes up again and ask for water symbol or EA8000 rinse. Machine starts giving water steam pipe. Asks for water again EA8160 and rinse symbol EA8000. Again water via steam pipe.
The EA8000 results with all leds blinking and the EA8160 with the symbol of the grid.
Powering off and starting up again results in the same behavior.

in another forum I have read about default flow meter, already replaced this. Also changed the elecronic board to test.
I get the impression the machine is not able to 'read' the piston going down. I see there is a switch at the back to register. Measured this, seems fine..

Hope someone knows and can help me.

Also looking to the code to get into service mode and manual to read the last fault code.
