Impressa c60 rattles and error code 8

Hello all,

we have recently a Jura c60, the device is about 5 years old and was only about 3 months ago at the all-round service. Now today I wanted to use coffee powder for the first time, put some in the powder chute. Then when I went to start the machine it said "fill powder" so I put some more powder in the chute. It then gave me a cup of coffee, but it was undrinkable because it was way too strong. I only noticed that afterwards. I then wanted to turn the machine off, then it first rattled very loudly and then displayed "Error 8" before it turned off.

As far as I know, Error 8 means a problem with the brewing unit, there is no connection with the powder, right?

Can I do something myself, or does the machine have to go back to the (expensive) service? Technical understanding and skill is rather mediocre.

The rattling can be a broken motor mount from the drive. If you do not have two left hands, you can repair it yourself.
