Jura F9 randomly brews

Older F9 suddenly brew without input

2008 F9, will sometimes randomly brew a cup of coffee without user input. Often a short shot, sometimes very weak.

I know this is an older machine, but well tended. Thoughts on any diy tricks, or should I start looking for a new machine?

This is due to the touch display. Known problem.
You can try cleaning the touch. Every now and then it helps. Otherwise, there are unfortunately not many options, except to send to Jura, if it is still repaired at all.
Qualitatively, these are good machines. Except for the touch display.
