Brand New EQ9 S500 no milk at all just steam

This has been asked before many years ago but no actual answers were given. I have a brand new machine set up as pee the instructions. First drink attempted was a latte but all the machine will produce is a lot of steam & a lot of noise but not a molecule of actual milk just a few millimetres of water. I have googled for two days and cannot get any help at all. Its the weekend so will try & contact Siemans for help and or a replacement machine. I have triple checked all connections for the milk as I explained the machine is brand new to no avail. It makes black coffee perfectly please help
