Hello,My ESAM 5600 rattles and reports that it has a general error. The brewing unit is difficult to remove.
It seems to me
that the snail in the back is too low. The rattle is also coming from this snail.
When I try to turn the motor up in test mode, it spins
all the time without stopping. When I want to go down, it spins briefly and signals limit motor down. The brewing unit cannot be moved by hand. Here a

Hello,

well, from the sound of it and judging by your description, the drive is over
.

Either disassemble the actuator completely and
replace the threaded sleeve - or

the

complete actuator.
