Hello everyone
, as already entered in the topic description, my Melitta Caffeo Solo coffee quantity control does not work. No matter how it is rotated or what position is chosen, everything seems to be inconclusive. Has someone already encountered such a problem, can it be repaired / adjusted somehow or rather send the machine back to the manufacturer (newly purchased, warranty
still valid)?
Thank you very much in advance!
M.

Hi,

I honestly think this sort of thing answers itself.
If something does not work on a newly purchased machine or appliance and it still has a warranty, you should always contact the seller or
manufacturer.

Do not open the device under any circumstances, then the

warranty

is

void. VGBernd

The quantities of coffee can be read quite well from the thickness of the pomace tablet.

Times please compare 3 references to minimum and 3 to maximum.

However, the water quantity is controlled independently.

And stop the running time of the grinder...
How does the diagnosis come about? By surveying the marc?

Right... the thickness of the marc should vary between strong and weak.

The marc tablet is thicker for Stark and thinner for Weak...

Sure. I meant the TE, how it comes to its diagnosis of the unchanged powder quantity.
What does the controller on the machine control? I had previously assumed that the grinder would simply run its course...

In general, the settings are as follows:

- powder quantity (coffee strength) over the running time of the grinder
- coffee quantity in the cup over
the water quantity -

aroma over the flow rate of

the water -

Temperaur and grinding degree also have an influence on aroma and

taste.
In expensive devices the settings are often adjusted automatically by software.

Reading the entry again, I think it's about the amount of beverage, i.e. the amount of water.
With the Solo there is a rotary control for this purpose, coffee strength (grinding time) is selected in three steps via button, "aroma" and temperature are not adjustable (or possibly only more complicated to program...)The

function of the rotary control is actually clearly verifiable - while the coffee is being brewed to the left, it should stop immediately...

Hello
, this is about the water mingle controls, the knob on the front panel. So you either have to open the machine (not recommendedtongue.gif) or, as explained in the first answer - return / complaint.

Hello everyone
, now I'd like to explain why this subject was even opened... So, the fully automatic machine was handed over to the dealer for warranty repair on 11.01.2020. After almost seven weeks, on 27.02.2020 I got the machine back - means I spent one and a half month without coffee. That doesn't matter, I can wait, because - the machine was scratched and pasted all over - I can't remove the traces yet. And worst of all - the cup and the float were missing. After consultation with the dealer, I called the service centre (Windhorn) and was
forwarded
to the manufacturemad.gifr
wacko.gif (why????) and then sent back to the dealer and service department by Melitta itself. After four telephone calls and two visits to the dealer, I was left without my parts. Conclusion:
- 7 weeks
without coffee-

bad looking

machine-

missing

partsWhy

didn't I try to repair the thing myself
