Good evening dear forum members,
I need your help!

My CG 6600 is now well 8 years old and also several times a day in operation.
A while ago I had them once to overtake and otherwise I never had any problems... it runs and runs and runs...
But now, for a few weeks now, hot water has also been running directly into the drip chamber during the first rinsing process (directly after heating up). It's always so much that a whole sheet of kitchen towels gets soaked.
Now I've taken a closer look and seen that a trickle runs along the outside of the door (directly between the front wall and the part that can be pushed down for small cups - sorry, I don't know the name of it).

What can it be or what can I do? Or is it time I started looking for a new machine...
It would be a shame, because I enjoy their coffee very much ;-)

It would be great if you could give me some tips. Thank you in advance - thanks biggrin.gif

See if the coffee spout's torn. Right between the drain holes.

No, no... it's not there. The trickle is really directly at the door and not in front at the outlet holes...

The crack is very hard to see.
Another possibility why coffee is running outside the door is unknown to me.
Set the picture.

Open the door and test if the coffee enema, in the door, springs.

Remove the brewing group and test whether the 2 screws of the brewing group holder are tight.

Can you get a better picture of the outlet cup? There might be a crack.

so the two screws behind the brewing unit are tight.

Klaro, BIld attached... This looks really disgusting now because of the flash... ;-)
Looks like a crack, but it is a seam, or??

Only for the sake of understanding: it only runs out during the flushing process during the switch-on process, otherwise never.

Riss.
disgusting it gets inside..... laugh.gif
Removing, cleaning, welding with a fine soldering iron inside and outside, assembling, finished.
Alternatively buy a door as a new part. If that still exists......
Eventuell I also have a cup as a used part in the box lie.

Madness! For me that was a seam... You are a real connoisseur! Thank you!!!

Welding is not that easy... New part I can watch... and *redden* what about your used parts box? Do you want to get rid of things out of it by chance?

LG and a nice evening
wish that
Coffee rabbit!
