Talea Giro loose contact at the set container

Hello,

With my Talea Giro is interrupted recently u.a.the brewing process. Even when switching on when the cleaning takes place, this is often interrupted. I then press on the lid of the set container and the brew group and thus the interrupted process continues. What can this be? Reed contact from the set container possibly.

I suspect that the magnets on the set container are weak due to age.
They like to rust and then the set container is no longer recognized.
Either once new or you get yourself magnets 10mm diameter and 1mm thick.
It's a bit of fiddling to get the old magnet out, but it's doable.

I have now freed the contact from rust but there is no change to notice. The machine is now 15 years old and has always done its job until now stop

If the magnet is rusted, then it is NO longer magnetic.
I have had 3 machines with the same error pattern and each time it was the magnet.

Really was? Do you think it is worth buying a new set container because there is the magnet inside or do you get the magnets separately?

Normally I am satisfied with the machine, recently invested in a new brew group, before that I had no problems at all except for now.

And why a new brew group?

You're not by chance near Heidelberg today? then you can pick up a magnet

No, unfortunately I'm not at Heidelberg:D today the new set container arrived and lo and behold, the machine actually works again, thank you very much for your tip ????????
