Best recommendations for coffee makers?

Hi, so I'm buying a coffee maker for myself and I know nothing about coffee, I'm a tea person anyway lol. He likes his coffee black, strong and very hot in temperature. He prefers to take 60 seconds in the morning to make that coffee before work. That's preferred, doesn't have to be. Also, can you give me some things I need with this coffee maker or press or whatever you recommend like the best coffee grinder or a good coffee mug that keeps the coffee hot and is portable?
