Searched topics and YouTube but not found a clue to solve this, so if anyone can help, please...

Machine stripped, cleaned, new seals and NTC thermister, rebuilt. Water boils but discharges directly to waste container. Brewing chamber appears to remain dry. Jack (helper piston) and brewing piston (stamp) operate normally. Stripped and inspected several times more. Pump, flowmeter, distributor, potentiometer and drainage valve all seem to be working OK. Condenser and piston are clear and all pipes correctly routed. No blockages or kinks found anywhere. Electronics appear to be OK and all connections correct.

What might prevent water from transferring into brewing chamber and then discharging directly to waste? What have I missed?

Also, after fitting new grommet in brewing chamber, actuator rod (lower sieve) sticks at top of its stroke, though can be manually depressed. Dismantled, stretched spring and added silicone grease, but no better.

Are grommetts usually this tight to start with, perhaps?

Here's hoping...

Hello again fellow coffee machine lovers!

I really do need help, so any assistance would be most gratefully appreciated, please.

Since my last message, I have...

• Sticking rod problem – machine stuck in “Automatic Adjustment” mode, so replaced the new brewing chamber seal / grommet with the previous one, which has cured this;

• Next, the machine constantly operated in “Machine Filling” mode, discharging directly into the waste water tray, so I bought and fitted a new flowmeter, which seems to have fixed this problem;

• Now, after successfully “Preheating” and “Machine Filling”, I can access the brewing choices, however the machine still does not dispense any coffee, but only discharges hot water into the waste water collection tray. This happens when running the “Rinsing” cycle too. So…

It would seem that hot water is not being transfered from the boiler to the brewing chamber, so can someone explain how this should happen, please?

Also, I would be grateful it if someone could check that my pipe and wiring connections are correct, but I can't see how to upload photos, so can someone explain that too, please? (I emailed 'admin' a few days ago, though no reply yet).

Any other thoughts as to why coffee is not being produced?

Thank you in anticipation. sleep.gif
