Miele CVA 5060

Hello all,

we have a Miele fully automatic coffee machine CVA 5060, bought together with a new kitchen in 2014, so already a bit outdated. The device has worked flawlessly so far and is cleaned regularly once a week. On average, my wife drinks coffee once in the morning and that's it, so no excessive use. Lately the coffee has been light and the grounds watery, although we have set the grind to fine in response. In this case, do we need to replace the drain valve according to the internet, or can this have other causes. For help I would be very grateful. lg Franz

Hello, watery coffee as a result of too little grind, or too coarse grind setting.
Since the second can already be excluded, I guess the first. Open the coffee powder flap where the cleaning tablet is also thrown in and clean this shaft with a bottle brush. Best one with pig bristles which are rubbing the plastic not so on as one from nylon.
