ESAM 4200 s vs. ESAM 3200 S

Hello together,

as recommended here in the forum I have informed myself something on www.delonghi.at and there also info to above mentioned machines found...
As I can not notice any difference in the description here my questions:

- Difference they only in the design/price ?
- Is the 4200S the newer model
- Why is the 3200S (499.99 EUR) 80 EUR more expensive than the 4200S (419.99 EUR)

3. one must likely be studied to understand the pricing policy.

It doesn't matter which one you opt for as both are equivalent and good.

Hello together,

have now called the deLonghi Hotlines (D+A) again:

- from both the statement that the models are technically identical
- lt. Austria, the price difference results from a higher quality material selection for the 3200S (metal drip tray instead of plastic, higher quality controls)
- according to the German hotline both have the same UPV (599 EUR)

... someone should understand that.... I ordered the 4200, because I like the design and the price better... ;-)

The 3200 does not have a plastic drip tray at all, but only a stainless steel plate as a cup storage surface, but all DeLonghis have that. What the Ösis are spreading is a little wrong.
