Gaggenau CMP 250 - Error E154

Hello, everyone,

If anybody knows the error E 154
, the machine suddenly freezes and the message E 154 appears - please call the customer service and nothing happens.

Normally you can disconnect the machine from the power supply and the error disappears.
Not anymore, because we were in the middle of the cleaning program.
Whenever we switch on again, the machine continues the cleaning program until the error appears...


Any tricks?

The error was fixed by customer service. It was done before Christmas.

Was altogether great. Gaggenau - service fee was worth it: 283 Eur and the machine came back refurbished.

The fault was probably a defective sensor that measures the temperature of the brewing process. Not repairable by the customer.

It must be a Christmas thing because my coffee maker yesterday also stopped working because of error E154. That's funny.
