For some time now, an unusually large amount of water has been running into the collection tray, so that the normal amount of coffee is not always produced.
My observation when the machine is open is that, in addition to the milk frother, hot water drips into the bowl from a "pipe" during hot water or steam preparation (e.g. for cappucino). Same result when pressing the "Clear" button on the milk container. Steam is also
generated
there
.

I could not find out the reason for this and would like to ask for

suggestions.

Which pipe does the water flow through?
There is a solenoid valve inside which has a silicone tube at the top, as soon as the steam supply is over, the valve closes, so that the residual water in the vaporizer continues to evaporate through the residual heat of the tube, it builds up pressure, which then escapes via the closed solenoid valve to the silicone tube, where the steam condenses back to water and ends up in the
pomace.

Which is also completely normal! safety-relevant, because none of the resulting overpressure is bursting

.

If there is a problem with too little coffee in the cup, because water ends up in the pomace, then first of all take out the brewing unit, remove the sieve and scrub the inside of the brewing unit with a cloth, underneath there is a pin from the crema valve, check if it

is

too tight

.

If it was not, then you have to disassemble and clean the brewing piston and take pictures as a marker.

Thanks a lot. I've attached a photo with a brief note.
Maybe it'll explain it.

First the brewing unit has to be overhauled (sieve off, clean, grease the piston again), then the brewing piston has to be disassembled, cleaned, seals have to be changed or only greased again.
It is a bit of work, but still possible.

Thank you, I'll get right on it, doesn't seem very urgent.
