Delonghi Esam 4500 no waterflow

I have a Delonghi Esam 4500 which has stopped brewing. Message was 'fill water tank" but now also shows "grounds too fine"
Some water drops could come out of the hot water tap.

The pump makes a muffled sound. It actives when pressing "change" in test mode. The EV1 and EV2 also clicks.

I took off the back cover and there was no movement of bubbles in the hoses. I took off the hose from the pump, but didn't change anything. Probably not a blockage.

Maybe malfunctioning valves or do I just need to replace the pump or could I rebuild the pump?
