WMF 1000 S water container

I have a WMF 1000 Barista S (03 0500 0003) I found after a long search a water tank for a WMF 1000 (03 0500 0002), does anyone happen to know if it fits? My water tank does not have a float like the one on the WMF 1000 Is this a problem?

Should not be a problem. Otherwise, remove the float in case there are problems with the circuit board.

Is measured capacitively. Behind the housing wall sits a circuit board that measures this.
Therefore, also remove the float if there would be problems.
