Hello,
we have a brand new Siemens EQ9 Plus S700. Except for the milk foam preparation, everything is great.
We have the following problem: After switching on the machine and selecting a drink with milk froth, e.g. cappuccino, proper milk froth comes only after the 3rd purchase. Before, only cloudy hot water comes instead of milk foam. There's obviously no milk being drawn. I cleaned the milk system.
Does anyone have any idea why? Pouring away 3 coffees each time I want to drink a cappuccino is not a good solution in the long run.

Hello,
I have a similar symptom with our EQ9 s500. After inserting the milk container and starting the desired coffee program (with milk foam), either steam only or the milk splashes and there is no real foam. When I notice it, I pull out the milk container and put it back in again with a little momentum. Sometimes it works the first time and sometimes I need 2 or 3 attempts. I don't think the hose from the milk container snaps properly into the machine or the machine pulls air at the spot because it doesn't seal properly there
.

Maybe someone has had similar experience and has a solution.

Hi, unfortunately we have the same problem with the EQ9 S500

After the machine had to be repaired three times because of this problem and the error could not be eliminated, we got a newer generation replacement unit.
Unfortunately, it's not better with that either. Almost always the first attempt to
obtain
milk foam
fails.

The second time, it works

.

We would also be very grateful for suggestions for solutions

Same problem here with EQ.9 S700, Latte Macchiato spits out steam instead of milk, works normally after second or third attempt. Strick cleaning regime adhered to and I always check the milk container is seated properly so I'm at a loss as to what causes this.

For all those that stumble upon this page, it turns out the EQ.9 s700 auto-clean of the milk system is not sufficient enough, I ran the milk system clean from the service menu and first shot a few dribbles came out, around the 4th attempt the flow was finally normal. Touch wood I have not had the steam only problem since.......

Constant maintenance via cleaning is key here, make it a end of day routine.

For anyone who stumbles across this page, it turns out that the automatic cleaning of the milk system of the EQ.9 s700 is not enough. I had the milk system cleaned via the service menu and on the first try a few drops came out, on the fourth try the flow was finally normal. Touch wood i have not had the problem with steam since.......

Constant maintenance by cleaning is the key here, make it a routine at the end of the day.

Can you please tell me how you cleaned it at the service menu?

What steps did you do?
